Shades and Vein Variations Explained
The shade of a tile is the combination of a number of visual characteristics of the tile surface, including its colour and the distribution of colour or decoration over the tile surface.

The term, shades and vein variations, thus refers to a passage of obvious and uneven shades of colours.

This informs that there will be difference in chromatic shades between tiles, and that there will be unevenness in order to be able to obtain a chromatic dynamism to reproduce the aesthetic appeal of natural materials.
